Sun Huaping

Professor Huaping Sun is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the Beijing Research Institute, Shandong University of Finance and Economics, China. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial Economics from Zhejiang University and has completed postdoctoral research at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He has also been a visiting scholar at the University of Nevada, Reno, USA, and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His research focuses on carbon finance and green development, regional economic development and innovation networks, global value chains and international trade, and industrial organization and environmental governance.

Professor Sun has published extensively in leading international SCI and SSCI journals, including Energy Policy, Journal of Cleaner Production, Energy, Science of the Total Environment, Resources Policy, and Environmental Science and Pollution Research. His work on environmental sustainability, energy efficiency, low-carbon development, and green innovation has received international recognition, including ESI Hot Paper distinctions. He has led and participated in numerous nationally funded research projects in China and has received several prestigious awards for his outstanding contributions to philosophy, social sciences, and sustainable development research.
